You can have packages shipped to yourself at your region's UPS hub without having to make prior arrangements with them which may make it easier to get your package.

My lame-ass multifamily housing complex has a gate which only prevents legitimate people from entering the area. As such, it's always been a problem getting stuff shipped here.

According to the UPS customer pickup clerk at my region's hub, you can just put your name and the hub's address and have your packages shipped there and pick them up from 8 - 6, but I have made arrangements to pick stuff up there in the past at midnight.

Altho I can not confirm, the hub will obviously get your package before its put on the "last mile" truck, so it's conceivable that you would get your package up to a day earlier.

wonders why he's posting this on reddit instead of enjoying new package
